The Peshitta Tanakh is a very early translation of the Hebrew Bible made by Jews in Mesopotamia several centuries B.C.E., and adopted by the early Jewish converts to Christianity. Despite its critical importance as an early translation of the Massoretic Text and as an aid to understanding the Hebrew Bible, it is almost completely ignored by Bible students today. Its treasures lie untapped and unknown to most. The following lessons on the Aramaic Old Testament are currently available.
