This series of lessons discusses the Aramaic New Testament or Peshitta. There is a huge and growing body of internal and external evidence (Aramaic Primacy) that the Aramaic Peshitta is not a mere translation of the Greek New Testament, but is instead the original inspired text from which Greek was translated, then from Greek into Latin and all subsequent languages. Why study an English translation of a Greek translation? Why not study the original Aramaic Peshitta text? The Aramaic New Testament resolves an immense number of problem passages in Greek, and contains puns, plays on words, poetry, hidden codes, and much more – all unmistakable hallmarks of an original language text, not a translation.
