Home | Aramaic Old Testament | Manuscripts | Lessons Welcome to these lessons on the Manuscripts of the Aramaic Old Testament or Peshitta Tanakh. These lessons discuss the various manuscripts of the Aramaic Old Testament that are available. The Leiden Peshitta Institute estimates that there are around 360 individual manuscripts of the Aramaic Old Testament. However, there are probably more than that, considering how widely used the Peshitta Tanakh is among Syriac-speaking churches across the world. (See the lesson Who Uses The Aramaic Old Testament?). The following lessons in this series are currently available.
