Syriac Manuscript Or. 58 is currently located in the Florence, Laurentian Library in Italy. It is referred to as 9a1 in the Leiden Peshitta Institute Edition of the Aramaic Old Testament, and dates to the 9th century. It is written in Serta (Western) script.

Syriac Manuscript Or. 58 is an important manuscript of the entire Aramaic Old Testament or Peshitta Tanakh. It includes all the books of the Tanakh or Hebrew Bible as well as Bel and the Dragon, Susanna, Judith, Prayer of Manasseh.

Like British Library Aramaic Old Testament Syriac Manuscript Add. 14,425 (5b1), Syriac Manuscript Or. 58 has a text which is very close to the Massoretic Text of the Hebrew Bible or Tanakh from which it was translated.
